Who this privacy policy covers
This privacy policy explains what happens to data when you visit GameTierList. It covers the website only. We collect as little as we can: there are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments.
What we collect
We do not ask for your name or contact details. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply. Tier lists you make stay in your browser and in the links you share; they never reach our servers.
Tier lists and shared links
The tier list maker stores your list in the part of the page address after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to our servers, so we cannot see the lists you make, even when you open a shared link. Saved PNG images are created in your browser and go straight to your device.
Messages to our contact address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail inbox, so Cloudflare and Google process them on our behalf. We do not add your address to any mailing list.
Fonts
Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Hosting logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. See theCloudflare Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and the device and country they come from. Clarity uses cookies and can record anonymous replays of a visit. We use this only to find pages that are confusing or broken. See theMicrosoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies
GameTierList itself does not set cookies. The analytics services named above may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
What we do not do
We do not build profiles of visitors, we do not use browser fingerprinting, and we do not try to identify you across other sites ourselves. We do not collect sensitive data of any kind, and we never ask for payment details, because nothing on the site is for sale.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers named in this policy, and only for the purpose described. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. These providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep data
Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and then deleted within 12 months. Analytics data is kept by Microsoft Clarity for its standard retention period. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period for security.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used, by emailing us. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. If we learn of a breach affecting personal data, we will inform affected people and authorities as the law requires.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
